I wish to offer my highest recommendation about Lisa Lewis of A Critter Sitter Co. My two dogs and I had the pleasure of working with Lisa on a very regular basis and we were saddened when our move took us out of the area. However, on a side note, Lisa recommended a sitter in our area who is excellent.)
It is a bit unnerving to hand the keys to your home and the care of your beloved hounds over to a stranger. However, upon meeting Lisa (and Mary) during the initial visit, I had a good feeling; not only based on their mannerisms toward the dogs but they were both so kind and positive.
I found Lisa to be extremely professional, but my favorite thing about her was the natural kinship she had with my dogs. I came home early one day on a day she was scheduled to look in on them and observed the genuine kindness, trust and friendship she had formed with them - she isn't just doing a job, she really cares.
